Session overview
The January series includes four guided training sessions with defined weekly themes. While each class keeps the same park location, and welcoming community format, the meeting point and training focus changes to help participants build balanced bodyweight strength and basic skills.
Workshops combine the main equipment zones along the Greenway, including dip bars and monkey bars. Classes are structured with progressions and regressions so beginners and more experienced attendees can train side by side with confidence.
Weekly schedule for January 2026:
- 4 January – Push session: dip bars and parallettes workout (meet at dip bars)
- 11 January – Pull session with bar based progressions (meet at monkey bars)
- 18 January – Handstand basics and parallettes (meet at monkey bars)
- 25 January – Full body class: rings and legs (meet at monkey bars)
Please note: No previous calisthenics experience is required. That said, participants must have previous fitness experience and baseline strength and cardio.
Weather notice: Training takes place in most weather unless conditions are unsafe. All cancellation notices will be posted on the Calisthenics Ireland Instagram story before 10am on the day of the session.
Participants can join any week they choose. The sessions encourage practical movement, social engagement, and consistent outdoor activity as part of the wider Public Sessions programme.
