Session overview
The February series includes six guided training sessions with weekly themes designed to develop strength, mobility, and bodyweight skills. Classes take place at Liberty Park, with different training focuses each week to help participants of all levels progress at their own pace. Workouts use the park’s main calisthenics rig, with progressions and regressions to ensure safe training, with beginners especially supported.
Weekly Schedule for February 2026:
- 1 February – Rings focus
- 8 February – Pull-up session & balance basics (bring parallettes if you have them!)
- 15 February – Full body flow: rings, bars & legs
- 22 February – Handstand & balance basics (bring parallettes if you have them!)
- 29 February – Push & pull focus
- 8 March – Full body flow: rings, bars & legs
Please note: No prior calisthenics experience is required. Participants should have a general fitness base, including some strength and cardiovascular capacity. Classes are suitable for anyone looking to get outdoors, improve functional movement, and train alongside a supportive, welcoming community.
Sign-up prior to attending is required. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and should only attempt exercises they feel comfortable practicing. Please inform your coach of any injuries or limitations before the start of the session.
Weather Notice: Sessions run in most weather unless conditions are unsafe. Any cancellations will be posted on the Calisthenics Ireland Instagram story by 10am on the day.
Sessions are open to all, and participants can drop in any week. Whether trying calisthenics for the first time or refining existing skills, each class is structured to help you progress safely as part of the wider Public Calisthenics Sessions programme.
